Are you a senior scientist or a mid-career IAHR member with experience on one of our Committees? Or are you an IAHR young professional looking for guidance and support? For the first time, we’re pleased to offer a new mentoring programme at the 40th IAHR World Congress, facilitated by the IAHR Technical Committee on Education and Professional Development. Full paper submission closing soon

If your abstract has been accepted, congratulations! You now have until Sunday 30 April to submit your full paper of 4-10 pages if you wish to be included in the Congress Proceedings. And don’t forget to register before Monday 15 May to secure your slot in our programme. The full paper template is available on our website.

Nominations open for the JFK Award

Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate student who is pursuing an academic degree in hydraulics or water resources, and whose paper has been accepted for the Congress? If so, don’t forget to nominate yourself for the prestigious JFK award! This can be done as part of the registration process on our website – but you need to register by Sunday 30 April. You could receive a cash prize and a commemorative plaque at the Congress closing ceremony.

Join the Hydro-environment Institutes Meeting

The next IAHR Hydro-environment Institutes Meeting will be held in the frame of the 40th IAHR World Congress in Vienna. As 2023 is the midpoint for the 2030 Agenda, the meeting will focus on how the hydro-environment institutes of the world are contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals—and the pathways for the coming years.
