Prof. Na Li was graduated from Wuhan University of Water Conservancy and Electric Power Engineering in 1994, majoring in water conservancy and hydropower engineering and construction. In April 1997 and June 2003, she obtained a master's degree and a doctorate degree in hydraulics and river dynamics from the China Academy of Water Resources and Hydropower Research. From 1994 to 2003, she was mainly engaged in the research of two-dimensional flood analysis model, the preparation of flood risk map and the development of flood risk information management system; since 2004, she began to work on technical standards for flood control and drought resistance, flood management strategy, urban flood risk management theory, flood risk management theory, and flood control. Research and development of disaster risk analysis and waterlogging early warning system; Since 2008, the research focus has shifted to the development of flood analysis software with independent intellectual property rights, the production of dynamic flood risk maps, the application of flood risk maps, typhoon disaster management and flood impact assessment. She is currently the Director of the Research Department of Flood Management and Impact Assessment of the Disaster Reduction Center and a professor-level senior engineer.
