Dr. Zhengyu Hu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). He obtained a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering in 2025 from the NUS. He specializes in wave-structure-seabed interactions, with research interests spanning hydroelastic wave loading, sediment transport, and tsunami-induced scour. His work integrates advanced experimental and numerical methods to improve the resilience and sustainability of coastal and offshore infrastructure, with a particular focus on understanding seabed response and failure mechanisms under extreme hydrodynamic conditions.
