Dr. Guowei Li is an environmental engineer with a strong academic background and a dedication to solving complex environmental challenges through interdisciplinary approaches. His expertise encompasses river ice hydraulics, watershed management, and air pollution control. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from China, a Master’s degree in Land and Water Systems from the University of British Columbia, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Northern British Columbia, where his doctoral research focused on flow–structure–sediment interactions under ice-covered conditions. Dr. Li’s work is grounded in systems thinking and a commitment to sustainability, aiming to bridge the gap between research and practical implementation.
