NTNU Trondheim
About
I am a PhD candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where my research focuses on mitigating the environmental impacts of flexible hydropower operation. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Water Resource Management from the University of Applied Forest Sciences in Rottenburg am Neckar, Germany. During my undergraduate studies, I completed both a research internship and my bachelor’s thesis at NTNU, which strengthened my interest in hydropower-related environmental processes. I subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Alongside my master’s thesis, I gained two years of professional experience as a hydraulic and dam engineering consultant at Sweco, where I worked on projects related to hydraulic modelling, dam safety, and water infrastructure.
