Ángel Bautista Yáñez holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the UPM (Technical University of Madrid) and works as a State Official in the Directorate General for Water of the current Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. His current position is Head of Service in the Dams Area, where he works as a technician in the supervision and approval of projects; authorization and approval of specifications for the contracting of maintenance and technical assistance for works on dams owned by the Spanish State. He also dedicates part of his work to promoting R&D&I projects related to water management and, in particular, dams.
