About

Giuseppe Pezzinga obtained the laurea degree "cum laude" in Civil Engineering Hydraulics section (University of Catania, Italy, 1984) and the PhD in Hydrodynamics (University of Padua, Italy, 1990). At the University of Catania (Italy) he was Researcher from 1989 to 1992, Associate professor from 1992 to 2000, and he is Full professor of Hydraulics since 2000. He has made research in the field of theoretical and applied hydraulics, and he has given contributions on two-dimensional models and one-dimensional unsteady friction models in water hammer flow, also for pipes with visco-elastic behaviour and for unsteady cavitating pipe flows.
