Dr. Hiroshi Cho is a professor at Kumamoto University, Japan, where he leads the River Environment Laboratory. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Hydraulic Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University. Dr. Cho earned his Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Kyoto University. His research interests include fluid dynamics, fluvial hydraulics, hydraulic structures, flood and inundation analyses, environmental restoration, and disaster management.
