Dr. Andrés Rodríguez is Civil Engineer (1985, National University of Córdoba) and Doctor of Eng. CCyP / Marine Sciences (1997 UPC, Spain). Full Professor, Director of the Hydraulic Laboratory of the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba since 1997. CONICET Principal Researcher, Director of IDIT and Associate Researcher of the National Institute of Water (INA). Professor and Researcher at the Polytechnic Univ. of Catalonia (Spain) from 1991 to 1997. He is the author or co-author of 11 books, including (as Editor and Director) the "Federal National Water Resources of Argentina" and "Resources, Problems and Water Challenges in Ibero-America ”(2018, Mexico). He has 69 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 15 book chapters, 29 Technical Diffusion articles and more than 300 technical publications in national and international congresses. "Antonio Marín Award" of the National Academy of Engineering (Argentina), National Director of Conservation and Protection of Water Resources from 2006 to 2015. Creator and Director of the National Program SINARAME (National System of Meteorological Radars), in collaboration with INVAP and the National Meteorologic Service from 2009 to the end of 2015. He has taught more than 80 postgraduate courses. He has directed two postgraduate careers in Master's Degree and 35 postgraduate thesis. Founder and Director of the Laboratory of HydroMeteorology of the Cordoba National University (2020). IAHR member, since 1986.
