Jordi Catalan is a research professor at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) since 2001 and a researcher at CREAF since 2012. Doctorate in Biology from the University of Barcelona (1987), he was a full professor in the Department of Ecology and director of the Research Center de Alta Montaña (CRAM) from the same university (1989-2001).
