As a recent graduate with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), I am thrilled to embark on my professional journey as a Civil Engineer at Sepakat Setia Perunding Sdn. Bhd (SSPSB). My academic journey and hands-on experiences have equipped me with expertise in structural design, urban stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics. During my time at USM, I was involved in projects focused on water resource management. I contributed to the design and analysis of the systems. These experiences allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges, enhancing my problem-solving skills and attention to detail. At SSPSB, I am currently focused on developing and implementing effective stormwater management solutions, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic design and analyses, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. I am passionate about using innovative approaches to manage water resources sustainably and mitigate flood risks, whilst contributing to sustainable infrastructure design and planning. I have been actively involved in several professional organizations or qualification bodies nationwide such as The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). I also held active membership with several international organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and, the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) since 2016. I am also having active participation in workshops, webinars, national conferences and other professional activities. I am particularly enthusiastic about leveraging new technologies, such as advanced modelling software and GIS tools, to improve the accuracy and efficiency of water resource management projects. As I grow in my career, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development.
