This policy brief is addressed to national governments, as well as to international  scientific and engineering organizations and associations. It underscores the  urgent need to address environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and climate  change through a unified approach that combines and integrates Ecohydrology  and Ecohydraulics, two subdisciplines of hydrology and hydraulics respectively.
