Abstract: The paper describes an experimental and theoretical study of the development of bed forms in sediment deposits transported within circular pipes representative of sewers. Particles of various sizes and specific gravities were used in the laboratory experiments performed with pipes of different diameters. Steady and unsteady water flows were applied.
