Hydraulic Model Experiments for the Siphon Spillway of the Oker Dam

Abstract: Investigations were performed using a hydraulic model for the Oker dam spillway to study the function of an air valve and possibilities of discharge control by aerating the flow. After correcting the test results of aerated flow for scale effects, recommendations for the design of the air valves have been given.
