Abstract: The paper present the design method and application of aquatic environmental model in the decision support system (DSS) for macroeconomic-water resources planing. The key is to establish the relationship among several sectors in aquatic environmental model and feedback with economic and water supply and demand balance models to meet the needs of impact assessment of aquatic environmental changes due to the different patterns and alternatives of economic development and water resources use.
