Abstract: Basin disasters occur frequently in recent years because of the chaotic management. Taking basin as a system, this paper proposed that a basin disaster was a process of system towards disorder and entropy increase, presented that the entropy variations of a single disaster and disaster chain: a single disaster entropy variation shows "λ" shape, and a disaster chain presents a series of "λ" shapes, and put forward that when considering basin system disasters we must enter some negative entropy for the system before the critical entropy value by using human interventions. In this paper, the notion of basin disasters “source”, “sink”, “material flux” and “energy flux” were presented, the theoretical line of basin system disasters prevention from the perspective of basin disasters “source”, “sink”, “material flux” and “energy flux” were also put forward, and finally the key technologies of basin system disasters integrated management were fully discussed. Under the circumstances of highly concentrated human society and economic activities make the disasters prevention and mitigation become extremely urgent in a basin, explore the integrated management methods of basin system disasters is of great significance for the sustainable development of social and economic in modern society.
