Abstract: This paper presents a newly developed software system named Q-View for quality assessment of moving-boat streamflow measurements made with Teledyne RD Instruments ADCPs. This software was developed to provide a unified method for evaluating the quality of ADCP streamflow measurements and be accessible to users of any experience level. Q-View consists of six major components: a summary of discharge measurement information, uncertainty analysis with statistical quality control charts, scoring systems, a normalized unit discharge (UQ) plot, descriptive statistics of transects, and expert-level review comments. Results for ADCP measurements on the Mississippi River at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are presented as an application example.
