Abstract: A procedure for the management of a coastal stretch based on the conceptual work by Santiago (2006) is formulated. It combines the work by Baquerizo and Losada (2008) with a hedonic price method to evaluate the consequences of hazardous events (Parsons and Noailly, 2004; Palmquist, 2005). The proposed methodology is applied to three different strategies designed for the management of the Guadalfeo‟s delta in Granada (Spain). The performance of each alternative and the corresponding risks are analyzed from a statistical point of view.
