Abstract:
As China's water pollution control strategies have achieved preliminary progress and traditional waterpollutants have been effectively controlled, emerging contaminants in the aquatic environment becomea key concern of water security. Here, we address the latest practices in the control and treatmentof emerging contaminants in China, including monitoring, risk assessment, and control strategies. Theprospects for future studies were suggested from a multidisciplinary perspective including environmentalscience, hydrology, ecotoxicology and engineering.
