Abstract: In order to manage a Water Supply Project efficiently, the necessary input requirements would have to be known with sufficient degree of accuracy. In this research a study on the necessary input requirements for water supply commencing from inception to implementations including operation and maintenance has been made for Towns East of Colombo and thereby indices have been formulated for accurate, calculation, allocation & management of water resources for Sri Lankan work & environmental conditions.
