Current Status and Development of Prediction of Turbulence Model in Water Environmental Engineering

Abstract: In this paper, several engineering turbulence models are reviewed, developed and applied in lots of water environmental engineering. These models had been proved functional and effective. In addition, a depth-averaged stress-algebraic model for entire field is proposed by the author and its application is in the numerical calculation of side discharged pollutants into a steady open channel, the results is found better than the depth averaged models.
