Abstract: We analyze the spatial moment data of the bromide and perchloroethylene (PCE) plumes at the well-known Borden tracer experiment in order to estimate the magnitudes of various transport parameters. All the parameter estimates made in this paper are found to be in reasonable agreement with independent laboratory measurements, with the lone exception of a rate parameter. From the analysis, we try to draw conclusions about the scale of the process or processes responsible for transport non-equilibrium (i.e., deceleration of the PCE plume) at Borden.
