Abstract: Tetrachloroethene (PCE) belongs to the group of priority groundwater pollutants. This is due to its former widespread use as a solvent, its high mobility in the subsurface and its toxicity. There is no known pathway for the aerobic degradation, however, reductive dechlorination is possible under anaerobic conditions [10].
