Water and Solute Movement and Simulation in Soil Medium Models

Abstract: The objective of this study is to develop a model of connecting soil medium and water & solute movement models for different types of soil. In this paper, we present first a general theory of soil porous microstructure models with different levels of aggregation. In order to tie up the hydraulic properties of unsaturated soil with soil physical structural characteristics, three "soil", medium models ("textural", "structural", "aggregated") and associated water and solute movement models are developed.
