Abstract: The damage of nuclear power plants resulting from certain hydrologic events, especially upstream dam failure due to its overtopping, often results in the loss of human life and causes extensive property loss. In addition, the abnormal operation of nuclear power plant may lead to severe threats such as the leakage of radioactive material.
