Abstract: Turbulent momentum transfer in the nature ice-covered flows is considered. The method of estimate of the turbulent viscosity in the core of an ice-covered flow is developed. Coefficient of turbulent diffusion in the boundary layers formed at the bottom and at the ice cover is calculated by using the Boussinesq hypothesis starting from power velocity profile. Depth distribution of turbulent transfer coefficient is calculated as a function of mean characteristics of a flow.
