Abstract: Based on observed data on the Zhaojtmfen reach in the upper Yellow River from 1979 to 1982, the time taking place underwater ice, the condition taking place underwater ice and the distribution of underwater ice have been analyzed in this paper. The generation mechanism of ice in water has been analyzed too.
