Abstract: Ice conditions occurring on the lower Odra have been presented in the paper. Their differentiation caused both by hydrographic conditions and human activity has been pointed out. Ice jam spots on the lower Odra have been presented. For one of them - Bielinek crosssection (674,0 km of Odra) - characterisation of ice jams recorded during the period 19701999 has been presented. Exemplary ice jam cases for this cross-section have been discussed.
