Abstract: This paper analyzed the fonning process of the three serious ice dam that happened on upper reaches of Heilongjiang River, lower reaches of Songhuajiang River and upper reaches of Nenjiang River. This paper sums up and puts forward the major factors that affect the scale of ice dam.
