Abstract: According to results of ice model tests, the design ice forces on a Bohai wellhead jacket platform with four legs and a 4 X 4 conductor pipe cluster were reduced, comparing to the original values calculated by conventional method. The technical strategy as well as the equipment, measurement/data acquisition system and results of the model tests are introduced in the paper, and the conclusions from results of the model tests are presented.
