Abstract: Citation analysis was used to map ice-structure interaction research. The source material consisted of 248 articles published in four conference series: IAHR, ISOPE, OMAE and POAC. 20 key authors and 32 key documents were found. Their connections were examined with cocitation and co-author analysis. The results of the citation analysis were compared with three review papers. The match was good: about two thirds of both the key documents and key authors were recognized by at least one of the reviews.
