Abstract: The results are presented of experimental studies on water freezing within closed cavities of various shapes and sizes under increasing hydrostatic pressure. Mathematical analysis of ice thermal and energy processes in dimensional form is performed. The analytical relationship for ice accretion with the pressure increasing in time is developed. Proceeding from the similarity criteria obtained experimental findings are analysed.
