Abstract: The total towing resistance of a ship model was measured in FGX model ice with varied elastic modulus, bending strength and thickness. Totally eigth ice sheets were used. The results of the tests are reported and analysed using multivariable regression in order to obtain the effect of each ice parameter separately.
