Abstract: The temperature variation of ice sheet and conditions of producing maximum ice pressure and relation between thickness of ice sheet and ice pressure are studied, based on the practical data obtained from nine reservoirs. In order to simplify the computation, a diagram for identifying ice pressure directly from ice thickness is presented.
