Abstract: The paper deals with the design of lock mechanical equipment operating under prolonged navigation conditions and the devices for fighting ice hindrances. The devices operating under prolonged navigation conditions should meet specific requirements to prevent icing and freezing to the elements laid in as well as providing safety and convenience of operation and minimum material and energy expenditures.
