Abstract: The paper deals with different ways of electrical heating for preventing ice rolls, and formation on lock chamber walls. The following heaters are recommended: electroheating cables, electro-heating panels made of laminated plastic, coaxial heaters, weldless metallic elements, and electroconducting concrete.
