Abstract: The paper is devoted to rough calculations of average temperatures in the canal section for the case when water temperatures in the initial range and meteorological factors vary with time according to arbitrary law. The calculation of dependences is deduced from the fact that while the water enters the canal it mixes intensively in the cross-section, which is why the temperature stratification in the canal is very insignificant and is not taken into account.
