Abstract: This project will provide data to assist in the evaluation of other larger projects which in the future, will be considered for the development of various natural resources in Arctic Canada. As part of the preliminary engineering investigations, it was decided that physical simulation of the LNG ships entering a proposed terminal at Bridport Inlet over a winter period, would provide useful insight into problems that might interfere with the continuous operation of the terminal and that improvements in operational techniques for ship docking and in the design of the terminal itself, would be suggested by this work. This paper describes such an experiment and the conclusions reached.
