Abstract: This paper presents the estimation of the flow field at the interface of water flow past a semi-circular cylinder, obtained using a multiple-camera system. The surface water flow behind the cylinder is observed by a four-camera system. The field of view of the water surface is divided into a grid of sub-regions, each represented by its center point. These surface points are tracked in an image sequence, and their 3D coordinates are determined using the calibrated camera network. The results show that the proposed method effectively measures the surface velocity field of periodic vortex shedding at the air-water interface. Furthermore, the utilization of the multiple-camera system allows for the assessment of water surface deformation of the flow behind the cylinder in different velocity conditions.
