Abstract: re numerous mathematical models for the simulation and prediction of theogical changes of alluvial streams.Most of these models are one-dimen-and were developed under idealized and simplified assumptions. Thesecannot be used to simulate the detailed erosion and sedimentation process1luvial channel with highly irregular channel geometry.A1though there areuly two-or three-dimensional models,they are too complicated and requireh field data and computer time for engineering applications in most cases.
