Abstract: The technology of input data validity estimation and inaccuracy verification for computational modelling of a transient water flow in open channels is described here. A criterion of hydrological data validity is presented, which is based on the integral curves of water volume trends. Also, the method of inaccuracy identification in morphometric and hydraulic data is given in this paper.
