Abstract: The reservoir simulation model DYRESM(Imberger et.al.,1978;Spigel and Imberger,1980;Imberger and Patterson,1981;Imberger,1982;Patterson et.al.,1984;Hocking et.al.,1988)is a one-dimensional simulation model of the vertical distribution of temperature and salinity insmall to medium lakes and reservoirs.Until now,DYRESM has been successfully used tosimulate the dynamics of lakes with surface inflows. In this paper DYRESM is used to simulatethe dynamics of a multibasin lake with groundwater inflows.
