Abstract: A numerical model for the simulation of particle trajectories in a turbulent flow is presented: a classical k-E code calculates the mean values of the velocity field; the instantaneous velocity field is then locally rebuilt in calculating a turbulent fluctuation with a random process, integrating not only the value of the Reynolds tensor (as in Monte-Carlo methods) but also the lagrangian correlations of the fluid velocity field, that stand for the "lagrangian memory". Good agreement is obtained for homogeneous fields, and is expected in the case of shear flows. A method is suggested to simulate the solid trajectories in boundary layers.
