Abstract: Uses of river water in various fields connecting to humanactivities has been rapidly increasing recently, and deteriorationof water quality in the river and sea, into which the river waterflows, has become one of urgent issues to be studied by hydraulicengineers. If the river effluent contains long-1ived pollutantssuch as some radioactive materials, the studies shal1 be done ofits behaviors not only at field near the river mouth, but thoseat extremely far field where effects of Corioli's force andoceanic currents become dominant.
