Abstract: It is important to predict the total entering quantity of oil under water surface and distribution of oil concentration after an accidental oil slick on the sea. Based on mass conservation of a two-phase flow the diffusion equation of droplet oil has developed. The analytic solutions of distribution of oil concentration for diffusion of one-dimension and two-dimension are given. The results of analytic solution are consistant with field data. This method can be used for predicting the distribution of oil concentration under the water surface after a large dimension oil slick on the sea.
