Abstract: Strong tidal currents at Myongyang Channel is investigated to exploit tidalcurrent power generation.A series of coastal surveys is conducted tomeasure tides,currents,2tc. Current models are set up to investigate possible changes of current regimedue to the power development.The model is verified using the field datameasured at several points along the channel.
