Abstract: The wave climate in coastal areas can be significantly affected by currents.They can change heights,lengths and the direction of oncoming waves.Therefore,a combined analysis of waves and currents,is necessary for many coastal engineering problems,such as sediment transport and the design ofbreakwaters and jetties.
