Abstract: Ananalytical approach is presented for the description ofthe radial variation of depth, depth-averaged mean velocity, and median-grain diameter in a steady-state, fully developed alluvial-channel bendwith nonuniform bed material. The approach is verified by tests inalaboratory-channel bend and by data from two river bends.
