Abstract: This paper deals with the convective velocity and the dispersioncoefficient of tracer clouds in the flow over permeable boundaries. Theoreticalanalysis shows that the convective velocity and the dispersion coefficient arequite different from those in the flow over impermeable boundaries through theeffect of vertical mass transport between the surface and subsurface flowe.
