Abstract: This research presents a both conceptual and operative index to evaluate qualitatively the level of the vulnerability to climate change (CCI) in watershed Andean tropical. The index CCI was constructed using a combination from Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model and fuzzy logic from artificial intelligence. The index CCI provides an approach to assessing vulnerability to climate change in the planning process in an Andean watershed. CCI index has as input values PSR indicators, in each zone from watershed: high, medium and low. By using fuzzy logic functions these inputs are combined to build a new climate change index (WGI). This approach was applied in a case study in Colombia.
